Turtle Cove
It is proposed to construct an 18 hole golf course with a residential development at Russell Heads, Hervey Bay. The accommodation will comprise a mixture of golf course villas, standard rooms and junior suites. There will be 136 in total. There will also be two four bedroom managers' residences.
Other facilities will include a clubhouse, sports complex, two pools, driving range, chipping/putting green, tennis courts and a pro shop.
Within the main resort building/clubhouse will be a business centre, hairdressing salon, theatre, games room, library and several indoor/outdoor dining options. Resort guests who wish to avail themselves of the local attractions will be offered transport to and from. The development would capture the appeal of a golf course lifestyle, similar to that offered at The Vintage, Hope Island and Terry Hills, although in a holiday fashion.
